![]() Knife Juggler on my board opponent had 3 minions, including Mal'Ganis. TIL: "Immune" does not mean "Cannot be destroyed". Retrieved on. Sources of Immune For Wild format listings, see Immune/Wild format For additional information, see Gorehowl. Although not explicitly stated in the card's text, Gorehowl has a triggered effect that grants a temporary Immune effect to the weapon itself, which protects it from Durability losses the same way Immune effects on characters protect them from damage.Immune effects will not prevent the game from ending automatically at the start of the 90th turn: for example, if both players have a Mal'Ganis in play and refuse to attack each other, the game will end in a draw at the beginning of the 90th turn.As with Stealth, Taunt minions that are Immune have their Taunt ability temporarily suppressed, and can thus be bypassed.1/128 probability of being incorrect) that Misdirection cannot select an Immune character as the defender, even if it does trigger. In addition, it is believed (with 99.2% confidence, i.e. Misdirection does not trigger if an Immune hero is the only available redirect target. For example, if Ice Block gives Immune to a hero that later that turn is replaced by Majordomo Executus's Deathrattle, the resulting hero will not have the Immune effect. Immune effects on a hero belong to that specific hero, not to the controlling player.Immune effects are always temporary, and only offer immunity for the stated period or while the source is active: after this, the effect is removed.Example: A player can cast damaging spells (such as Darkbomb) on their own Immune hero: they simply will not deal any damage.Example: A player can use Alexstrasza to directly alter their own hero's Health, regardless of its current value.Example: A player whose hero has been replaced by Lord Jaraxxus and is protected by Mal'Ganis can still use Sacrificial Pact to destroy themselves. For example, a player can use healing and destroy effects on their own Immune hero or minions to full effect. Immune characters can be actively targeted by the controlling player, although any resulting damage will still be prevented.Immune characters can be targeted by enemy effects that are automatically targeted (such as Vaporize) or randomly targeted (such as Ragnaros the Firelord, Knife Juggler or Clumsy characters), although any resulting damage will still be prevented. This includes combat attacks as well as targeted spells, Battlecries and Hero Powers. ![]() An Immune character cannot be actively targeted by the opponent (similarly to Stealth).Example: Uther of the Ebon Blade's hero power effect ( The Four Horsemen) will destroy an enemy hero even if it is Immune.Example: Twisting Nether will still destroy Immune minions.Example: Equality will still affect minions which are Immune.Immune minions and heroes are still vulnerable to non-targeted destroy effects and " area of effect" effects. For additional details, see Damage#Advanced rules.Immune characters will still deal damage normally.Effects that trigger when damage is dealt (such as Frothing Berserker) will not trigger if the damage is prevented by Immune.Immune prevents damage from both enemy and friendly sources, such as Flame Imp and Life Tap.Immune prevents damage from combat, spells, Hero Powers, Battlecries, Deathrattles, Secrets, triggered effects and Fatigue.Immune prevents all damage that would be dealt to the affected character, regardless of its amount and source (similar to Divine Shield).AP, Crit, Hit and Expertise all take precedence over Haste, but Haste is still an important and beneficial stat for us. Now, Haste is not a stat we should be making a conscious effort to stack, but since the Equip bonuses on mail raid gear always come in threes, taking a piece with AP/Crit/Haste is always a better choice for us than AP/Crit/Armor Pen. In short, LvB is a spell Enhancement Shamans should not be using, except in cases where we have to run out of melee range for extended periods of time. Even if you like seeing those big numbers on your screen, they come at the expense of our overall DPS - casting LvB stops your auto-attacks, which in turn stops you from proccing additional Maelstrom stacks, which hurts overall DPS even though you'll see one large crit. There's no place in our rotation for hard-casting Lava Burst. You do realize that Haste directly increases the number of Maelstrom Weapon procs, right?īesides, I'm not sure which "one spell" you're talking about, since a good Enhancement Shaman will be using insta-casts only: Shocks and five-stack Lightning Bolts/Chain Lightning. (I lawl at enhancement stacking haste, stacking speed for one spell does not make up for having more damage over all.)
